Sustainability policy

Our objectives and sustainability commitments detailed below are influenced and guided by the Sustainable Development Goals set out by the United Nations.

Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do—not as a passing trend or marketing strategy, but as an essential responsibility.

We work to to preserve, protect the ecosystems in our destinations that support both our business and the broader social economy.

We take proactive steps to reduce our carbon footprint and work alongside like-minded partners to create solutions for a more sustainable future.

We ensure that the benefits of tourism activities are shared with local businesses and communities.

OUR OBJECTIVES

  • We preserve ecological processes and support the conservation of natural heritage and biodiversity.
  • We measure our net carbon emissions and work to reduce them.
  • We respect the socio-cultural authenticity by protecting  cultural heritage, both tangible and intangible, along with traditional values.
  • We pursue sustainable, long-term economic activities that provide fairly distributed socio- economic benefits to all stakeholders.
  • We uphold accountability for the safety of our products and services,
  • We reuse and recycle materials whenever possible.
  • We treat employees, customers, suppliers, and stakeholders fairly, and respectfully.
  • We design our operations,  products, customized tours in alignment with our values, aiming for greater efficiency and reduced reliance on materials and activities that harm or pollute living systems.

OUR COMMITMENTS:

When we design tour and activities:

We do not design and provide activities that harm people, animals, plants, or natural resources or that are socially or culturally inappropriate. We prioritize efficient routes and eco-friendly vehicles. Additionally, we  encourage cycling, even with our electric bikes, which feature electric assist.

Our tours support local communities by purchasing local goods and services and promoting authentic experiences.

We  committ to ensuring no harm comes to animals. We evaluate risks in both our in-house operations to minimize negative impacts on people and the environment.

Responsible Management & Human Rights

  • We have a Sustainability Manager  to carry out our sustainable action plans.
  • Our employees work in a safe and supportive environment with competitive wages and transparent contracts
  • We do not allow any discrimination based on gender, race, age, disability, ethnicity, religion/beliefs, or sexual orientation. We also require our partners and suppliers to uphold these same standards.
  • We help protect and support vulunerable  groups ( women, children, and ethnic minorities ) in our area of operation. We, along with our suppliers, are strongly committed to protecting children from sexual and labor exploitation in all our destinations.
  • Our trained local buddies and staff ensure the well-being of our travelers.

Destination, Environment, and Community

  • In addition to must-see highlights, we designed off-the-beaten-path rides where tourists rarely visit, helping to support local communities that typically do not benefit directly from tourism. Collaborating with these communities not only minimizes our impact on mass tourism but also offers  our travelers unique and unforgettable experiences.

  • Balancing cultural preservation and commercialization can be challenging. We strive to avoid mass tourism hotspots and instead create meaningful, memorable interactions between travelers and local communities whenever possible

  • Our team across all offices  deploy sustainable practices both personally and professionally. Staff are encouraged to use sustainable transportation methods. From using public transportation to riding a bicycle, various options are available.

  • Waste managerment:

Our goal is to create a sustainable workplace and minimize our waste footprint. We avoid printing unnecessary documents and remind others to do the same. Additionally, we refuse unnecessary items to prevent waste at the source. We focus on reducing resource consumption, prioritizing reusable alternatives, and repairing goods to extend their lifespan. To eliminate single-use plastics, we promote the use of refillable bottles

  • Energy management

We use energy-efficient LED bulbs.

We prioritize natural ventilation and fans where possible, adjust thermostat settings to match external temperatures.

We promote energy-saving behaviors, such as turning off lights and equipment when not in use.

We educate employees on energy conservation techniques.

  • Water management:

We use dual-flush systems and installed smart controls to minimize unnecessary flushing, with prompt action taken to repair any leaks.

Our water-saving practices are integrated into staff inductions and regular meetings.
